The desire of City Temple’s Prison Ministry is to provide spiritual hope and support for all inmates of the penal system; male, female, juveniles, adults, “lifers” and “non-lifers” … ALL OF GOD’s CHILDREN.
The Prison Ministry of City Temple stands firm in its belief that “ALL” of God’s people deserve to experience salvation, love, acceptance and the freedom that our Heavenly Father gives through his son Jesus Christ. The Activities/Responsibilities
Work to develop a recourse fold for inmates being released
Meet & collaborate with other local churches and their prison ministries plans and activities
Attend local and national workshops/meetings on prison ministry
Veterans Ministry
This ministry supports active-duty soldiers and veterans, as well as their families, with the following:
Prayer for service members and military chaplains who minister to them
Recognition of major military holidays such as Veterans Day, Memorial Day and Independence Day
Care packages to deployed veterans
Meal preparation, yard work and home maintenance for veterans' families
Connecting returning veterans to professional and spiritual networks
